Before joining the faculty in 1984, Dr. Coleman had been a Vietnamese
translator and intelligence analyst with the U.S. Army, an English
instructor in a boys military school, a high school librarian,
and an instructor at Baylor University. His teaching responsibilities
include the introductory course for the M.L.S. program, the school
library administration course, the doctoral research design course,
and internships. His research addresses various aspects of school
library management and library education.
