Dr. Margaret Stieg Dalton, professor of library and information studies, will be the recipient of the Isadore Gilbert Mudge Award for 2008. This prize, consisting of a citation and a substantial cash award, will be conferred at the Annual Meeting of the American Library Association this June in Anaheim, CA. Gale Cengage Learning sponsors the award that is given annually to "an individual who has made a distinguished contribution to reference librarianship."
