Mary Ann Bradley is the registrar
for the college. As such, she maintains student records, handles
graduation applications, assists students in academic planning
and advising. She has been employed by the University of Alabama since 1984.

| Shelby Chandler |
 |
Shelby Chandler is the Program Assistant for Tisch Student Services in the College of Communication & Information Sciences. Additionally she serves as the administrative assistant for the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Student Services. In this role she works closely with a variety of student organization including The Alabama Student Society (ASSCA), Student Executive Council (SEC), and Academic Honor Council (AHC). She has been employed by the University since 1989.

| Caryl Cooper |

Dr. Caryl Cooper, Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Studies, coordinates the career development programs for C&IS. Dr. Cooper has more than 13 years experience working in advertising agencies in New York City and broadcast sales in St. Louis, MO. She is more than willing to share her knowledge of the field with you. Dr. Cooper received her bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University and her master’s and doctorate degrees in journalism from The Missouri School of Journalism. |

Ann Bourne is librarian for the college. She supervises and maintains the William E. Winter Reading Room, which consists of periodicals and books related to the field of communication, photocopy facilities, and a computer lab. |
| Melanie
Danner |
 |
Melanie Danner is the director of
financial affiars for the College, handling financial and Human Resource
issues. Melanie is a 1990 graduate of the University of Southern
Mississippi and received her Master of Accountancy degree from
the University of Alabama in 1991. She is a Certified Public
Accountant who joined the College as its Director of Financial
Affairs in 1997. |
| Sheila
Davis |

Sheila Davis is the Administrative Secretary for the Director of Development of the College and she also provides staff support for
the Dean's Office. Sheila has been employed by the University
since October 2001. |
| Greg
Goldstein |
 |
Greg Goldstein is manager for area
technology and PC support for the college, helping manage the
computer labs and individual faculty and staff machines. His
responsibility includes guiding the college in new technology
choices and supporting currently used hardware and software.
Greg joined the college in 1998, after having spent 6 years
with the School of Library and Information Studies as network
administrator. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama
business school. |
| Bonnie
LaBresh |

Bonnie LaBresh is the Director of
Development for the College of Communication & Information
Sciences. She directs the major gift fundraising activities
for the College and also manages the College's Board of Visitors,
a 64 member external advisory group. Bonnie is a 2001 graduate
of Leadership Tuscaloosa, a member of the Public Relations Council
of Alabama, the Southern Public Relations Federal and the Council
for Advancement and Support of Education. A cum laude graduate
of the College of Communication and Information Sciences, Bonnie
has worked at the University of Alabama for 14 years. |
| Pam Doyle Tran |
|
Dr. Pamela Doyle Tran is the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Student Services. She is responsible for undergraduate services including advising, admissions and records. Additionally, she coordinates student governance activities and services as the academic disciplinarian for the college. She is also a faculty member in Telecommunication and Film where she directs the broadcast news sequence, their competition team, and their internship program. Dr. Tran's creative production pieces air on Alabama Public Radio and at national media festivals. She has been with the University since 1991. |

Oakley |

Jim Oakley is placement director
for the College. He assists students with their career plans
and helps them find internships and jobs. Oakley is a 1958 graduate
of the University and spent more than 30 years as publisher
of the Centreville Press. He joined the University as its placement
director in 1985. |
| Sammie
Schlichter |
 |
Sammie Schlichter is the Administrative
Coordinator to the Dean of the College of Communication. She
assists the Dean with the administration of the College and the
Director of Development with fundraising activities. Sammie
has been with the college since 1998. Prior to joining the College
she was with Advancement Services in Rose Administration for
10 years. |
