Academic Honor Council
(AHC)
The C&IS Academic Honor Council is an appellate and judicial body comprised of student justices who maintain high ethical and academic standards. The AHC was established to provide student representation in matters of academic policy and academic misconduct. The Council, consisting of nine justices, has three major purposes:
(1) to discuss any matter of academic misconduct when petitioned by a student
(2) to deliberate matters of academic policy passed down by the Dean or Associate Dean, and
(3) to foster and promote honesty, justice, and fairness among students enrolled in the College.
