Cheryl joined the APR department in Nov. 1991. Before joining APR, she worked in the College of Communication and Information Sciences Dean's Office for four years. She assists 14 full-time faculty members, more than 650 undergraduate and 25 graduate students. She also handles inquiries from University officials and a wide range of business executives at national, state and local levels.

Cheryl also checks course/grade prerequisites for all enrolled students in courses taught by APR faculty, and handles registration and drop/add for its majors. She works with the graduate coordinator in recruitment of new Master's students and related correspondence.

Personal

Cheryl likes to spend her free time traveling and going to all of the Alabama Crimson Tide football games. She is an avid football fan -- ROLL TIDE ROLL! Cheryl is a globetrotter, visiting places all over the world. Her favorites include London, Paris, Rome, Florence, New York, Williamsburg, VA, Yellowstone National Park, the Grand Canyon and especially Gulf Shores, AL. She is married with two children. Her son is a U.S. Marine and her daughter is attending the University of Alabama. Her daughter was a foreign exchange student in New Zealand during high school.
